bd boost builder and upgraded fuel pressure spring

Ford 6.0 OEM upgraded Fuel Pressure Spring

the link above is an upgraded fuel pressure spring,, has anybody tried this or atleast know if its worth my while?

also was thinkin wondering if the bd electric boost builder is something i should consider atleast until i upgrade to a bigger turbo,, if yes should i leave it in with the bigger turbo?

My understanding is the BD boost builder will do nothing for your 6.0 turbo... What kind of numbers are you making now? The fuel spring is a update for use with the new fuel filters which apparently lower fuel pressure compared to the older style filters. Highly recommended from what I have learned. Help to retain good fuel pressure which in turn can add to the protection and life of your injectors!!! Check out 6.4L banjo bolt mod to add to the spring upgrade also! Good Luck... Search the subject on the springs and banjo bolts. Forums have a lot of discussion on this subject.:c:

The spring will only help, certainly wont hurt, but what are you running for a fuel system now? What pump? A regulated return at all? Depending on your current system, you may be wasting your time with the spring. What is your fuel pressure regulated at? I'm just assuming you have something running the 185 or 190cc sticks you said you had in the other thread.

BD boost builder is for stock trucks, it'd be a waste of money on yours. It's just a fooler to add timing and boost. If you have custom tuning, the bd deal is a huge waste.

What about a fuel pressure gauge?

no quages yet ,, i need them bad especially for the fuel and egt's. there goin in soon

I can't believe you're running 190's on a stock fuel system with no fuel pressure gauge. There's a pretty good chance you're doing damage to them already. You really need to get a fuel pressure gauge on there ASAP.

i wanna get elite diesels regulated return kit, not sure wich lift pump to go for

Also, that spring above is $73!!! You can get the updated spring directly from Ford for less than that!

Elite just moved shop and they seem to be dropping the ball hard with orders and what not. Check out strictly diesels regulated return if you want to look into something like that. I like the airdog 2 for 6.0's. The pump, then the 6.4 banjo bolts, and the RR if you want to, but you REALLY need a fuel pressure gauge.

I bought a bd boost builder and had it on for a day before I returned it......I noticed absolutely no difference
