hp!!!
Hey how ya doin im new here, and i was just wondering what kind of hp Im pushing idk if anyone has exactly what i have but if anyone has a close comparison and has had theirs on the dyno i just want a ballpark if ya can. I have an 06 ford f350 with 6.0 with sct w/ innovative extreme race tune, cfm large mouth intake, egr delete kit, 185cc injectors, ats stage 2 tranny, arp head studs and a modified the plate blocking the inlet for the air intake behind the grill. I work alot so i dont have much time to take her over to set up a pull or two on the dyno any guesstimate on the hp would be greatly appreciated?
---AutoMerged DoublePost--- anyone lol? |
Mine has a superchips flashpaq, 4 inch straight pipe, 190 injectors, egr delete, arp head studs, intake, and a slightly upgraded turbo and im around 500hp:c:

The modification of the plate behind the grille is known as the "Zoodad Mod." You're about 450-500

i agree iv gone through couple ats trannys im a dealer i snapped the input shaft on the first ats lol now its billet but the stock tranny held petty good until i upped the injectors then instant carnage thank you guys by the way for your input i was thinking 450 to 500 my self but its real hard to tell THANK YOU!!!!

Well saying you've gone through a few ATS trannies isn't surprising even if you didn't have the big sticks. I've heard nothing but horror stories with ATS, especially their customer service.
I just realized you're in upstate NY, where are you at? I'm in Richfield Springs myself, but work up towards Utica. Also venture out Albany way quite a bit. Check out Upstate Bombers when you get a chance, it's the upstate NY diesel club. We actually have a get together coming up towards the end of the month. What are you running for turbo? There are a few guys using just a powermax and 190's and laying down 510-540ish rwhp. The tuning is killing it, you really need custom tunes to match larger injector/turbo combinations. I can't believe you don't go through headgaskets often, even with the studs. Cylinder pressures are probably through the roof. |
highland is about 80 miles north of the city 45 minutes south of albany actually and thank you i will check that out the stage two i have now is holding up pretty good but i havnt turned the shift pressure up at all it shifts real nice, but the last one i had was turned up and man did it slam no slip all go!!lol

Your built tranny should crap out in no time with the big injectors and only a superchips. You really need to harness the power from the sticks and tune the tranny, being built wont save it. It'll last longer than stock, but it still wont hold up. Tuning is absolutely key to the life of a 5R110.

SCT with custom tuning, it is the ONLY way to tune your trans. The only other thing on the market I'm aware of that can even access the TCM to tune the trans is the H&S now, but they're double the price and there is only one guy writing tunes for them.
Just switching tunes should show a huge improvement in the way your truck currently runs and the way the trans acts. I like Innovative Diesels tunes, but there are a host of other good tuners out there. Matt @ Gearhead, Doug @ GoGo (direct injection performance), Vivian @ quicktrick automotive. Didn't mean to come off sounding like a d!ck either, just hate to see something happen to your truck just because of a simple tune.!:c: |
thank, i appreciate it:c:
