oil in coolant, more issues.

ok. Heres the deal.
My coolant resevior is full of an oil/coolant mix. The bottle is full. The motor has oil in the pan, its low, but its clean (changed it 2 weeks ago). I flushed the radiator and added ford gold coolant back into the system. I added a coolantant filter after the flush. Everything was good 6 days ago. I dont believe the dealership has ever replaced the oil cooler if I remember what the mechanic told me correctly.
2006 6.0, 115000 miles, egr delete, sinister coolant filter, running innovative diesels extreme street tune.
Another issue I have noticed. When I start the truck and it is cool, it runs like a scalded dog. after it reaches operating temperature, it doesnt quite have the same "snap your neck" feeling, really doesnt have the power down low. I havent pushed it past 20 lbs of boost do to being afraid of blowing a head gasket.

So I'm assuming a failed oil cooler. any other input before I get started tearing it apart again.

Like always thanks yall.:tu:

Ohhh... yeah forgot. Pulled green coolant out of her when I did the flush.:s:

Oil cooler is probably clogged right up from green coolant mixing with gold coolant if I had to guess, but definitely hard to tell from here.

Stock trucks run more than 20lbs of boost too. Stock they usually do 22-24. Boost isn't really the killer, it's the advanced timing.

If it runs worse when warm, you may have a small high pressure oil leak somewhere. Have the stand pipes/dummy plugs ever been done? Might be a good idea to put the upgraded units in now.

If it was me I'd find someone with a scanner and check desired ICP vs. actual ICP (injector control pressure). That will tell you if the HPOP is working like it should.

Yeah, Ive gone through and updated the dummy plugs, stand pipe, and stc fitting two months ago when I had it apart. Had a few o rings blown out. seals on the pump looked fine too.

I'm about talked into building a Fummins. I like the truck, But I cant have it going down on me every 2 months.:humm:

Fix it right the first time and you wont have these issues! :c: I can fix FICM's too, just FYI.
