6.0 EGR delete

Just recently noticed white smoke blowing out of the exhaust when I start my truck.
I want to put a EGR delete in. Is this something I shod have proffesionaly done if not who makes the best Delete kit ?

For installing it i would say it depends on how mechanically inclined you are. Or how careful and good you are at reading instructions. As far as kits go the Sinister kits are very nice and so are the diesel race parts kits are a nice kit as well. If you were gonna go out and do it right I would like at the sinister basic solutions kit that has the new oil cooler in there as well.

i did the RCD (river city diesel) delete. super easy great instructions. all you really have to pull is passenger side intercooler tube, alternator, and turbo, and your passenger side exhaust. then loosen, don't remove your whole intake manifold. got my kit from ebay good deal there.

Are all the EGR Deletes created equal or are they differences?

it depends on quality.... but as far as function they are all basically doing the same thing. i liked what i read on the RCD.. so that's what i went with and love it. with the egr delete you spool quicker and your not heating your coolant...:rocking:

Yes and no, the basic kits are all the same, but you can get some really high end kits that are a little different, just depends on how much you want to spend...

Yeah the Bullet Proof Diesel Kits are very very nice. But they are super exspensive

I was thinking along the lines of deletes, since that's what this thread is about. More specifically the GoGo EGR delete, since the coolant passage on the intake manifold is completely machined off, and a stainless line with AN fittings run in it's place.
