diesel in coolant

i have a 2006 f350 that has diesel in the coolant tank anyone ever heard of this?

well not really you're dealing with two separate systems here. It is possible for fuel to get into the oil (via injector failure), and oil to get coolant to get into the oil (via blown head gasket). I would start to find the missing link and check if oil is in either one of those systems.

Can you give us some more info about the truck....

the truck has 79000 miles, I live in Oregon and I took it to yosemite with my camper on and pulling my jeep wrangler, on the way home I smelled diesel and I saw it on the inner fender well but could not tell where it was coming from. I checked the fuel filter for leaks, I checked the oil and it does not have diesel or water mixed. I went to check the fluid level on the coolant tank and noticed it was wet, and when I smelled it it was diesel, so I tried to get the cap off the tank and it would not come off due to the threads on the tank being worped when I finally got the cap off I put my finger in the tank and it is definately mixed with diesel I talked to a few mechanics locally and one thinks it might be an injector and one thinks it is a blown head gasket or cracked head.
I took a water bottle full out of the coolant tank and I am waiting to see if it seperates

Blown head gasket is not likely to be the issue - a cracked head is very likely. You may have a bad injector cup, but Ford pretty much states that it would probably still take a crack in a head to cause fuel contamination of the coolant.

I agree, probably cracked head. Is this truck stock? Do you have any sort of gauges? How much weight were you pulling?

totally stock, no extra gauges only stock my camper weighs 3500lbs. and my wrangler is about 2500lbs
