Tested my FICM today just so Id know how to do it. KoEo was at about 52. Cranked it and it shot up to about 65 and stayed.. I repeated the process and it did it everytime. Double checked everything.. I dont know if this is something that could happen or if my multi meter is messed up. Im going to double check again with my brothers multimeter later this week.
Truck was recently at Duprat Ford for glowplugs. And they tested it and it read 49vlts accross all. And while at Ford the replaced some injectors. and tested my EGR cooler and found a very small leak. So they replaced both the oil and egr coolers. injectors, couple glowplugs and reconditioned my turbo. Nice to actually take it to Ford for one problem that it threw a code for ( Glowplugs) and they go above and beyond and fix everything and do the turbo. Thank god for Warranties!!

Yeah, that is nice! I've found a warranty is only as good as the people working on it... and I haven't really found any yet, though powerstroketech87 is going to be my new tech it looks like!

Your multi-meter must be off, if it was actually that high it would burn out most of the components on the board since they're only rated to 50V.

Mine read the same thing, but I'm also sure my multimeter is on the fritz.

Kinda figured my multimeter was taking a crap. Ill test it later this week with my brothers. Truck has been running like a dream since Ford fixed all that. Got just over 560 miles on last fill up (topped off) of 36 gals. Much better then that 380 to 420 I had been getting.

Has anyone run a swamps with this "optional performance tune" they offer for an additional $150? They say it pushes the 58v charge for the maximum duration that the injectors can handle. It sounds a lot like it pushes your fueling system to the limit. I want the 58v because of its reliability, but I wouldn't mind a few extra ponies if im dropping that much cash on it. Anyone had any experience with this? Or does anyone else think this is a waste of an additional $150?

Everything I've read says the tune does about the same as the 58V, but together it wasn't noticeable, but again it's just what I've read.
