2004 4x4 rotors

Will my rotors have the hubs built in or are they just bolt on rotors like my f150?

fronts are regular remove and replace, rears (depending on which rear end you have) will have the hubs attached, you will need to remove the hub and rotor as an assembly and there is an axle seal on the back side of the hub which will need to be replaced. Trick to keep the rears from tearing is to lift them up and keep the seal from dragging on the rear spindles. And dont be surprised if you end up having to replace the backing plate assemblies. (contains backing plate and E brake shoes) you can crack the hat like you would do on an explorer but theres almost always a rust ridge built into the hat and keeps the shoes stuck on the inside of the hat. I usually break the hat with a sledge hammer and pound the rotor off and usually the e brake shoes retiaining pins break and the backing plates need to be replaced.
