blueprints for an off road bumper
 
hey there.

ive been looking around, cant find any solid blue prints for a "road amour or buckstop" look alike bumper.
im a welder/fabricater in alberta,
just hoping someone out there has some measurements or ideas on where to start.

I looked at trying to build one myself a few mounth ago and i could not ever find a pattern or prints everbody i talked to said that they just made one out of cardboard first and then cut our ther metal. The only thing i found close was there is a company that will sell you the metal olready cut out and bent all you had to do was weld it together and paint it but i cant find what there name was i will keep looking tough. Good luck

Thats gonna be you best bet with the cardboard. When build them, I just measure up the stock bumper so I know what deminsions I will need the after market on to be.

I agree, best bet would be cardboard, it's cheap and easy and you can make a few different styles to see what you like. Take a saturday afternoon or something, pull your stock bumpber, and go to town.
