SCT from Innovative
Hey guys just talked to Ted at Innovative and he sent me the stats on the sct sf3 with custom tunes.
Xtreme Race- 420-440rwhp/760-780rwtq - Converter locked in all gears. Xtreme Street- 420-430rwhp/730-760rwtq- Not recommended for towing. Street- 400rwhp/670rwtq- Tow up to 10k lbs. Tow- 310rwhp/560rwtq- Towing over 10k lbs up to the maximum of thetruck. Economy- Mileage program only. Im thinking of spending the $80 and gettin the xtreme street. I wana know who has what and how they like it. I would like some more power and smoke but dont know if I need the extreme or not. Just have the stock 6.0 in my 05 with a straight pipe (no muff or cat) and also an egr delete. Any suggestions would be great, my birthday is may 31 and the girlfriend is gonna let me get a tuner so hope to get it figured out before then. Thanks Josh |
Extreme street rocks. You wont get hardly any smoke off the street tune, but that's ok. The Street tune is still a really fun tune and the clean driving makes it nice if you're in the city or something. The x-street will only puff on take off and then once the turbo is lit you'll barely get a haze. Eric has excellent tunes.
Economy is a waste of money. The extreme race/street tunes will give the best mileage if you can keep your foot out of it. |
Mdub, quick question, Has your truck been studded?
|
At one point it was. It isn't now. I've been through 2 headgasket jobs, and going to be doing it a 3rd time hopefully this summer. The only difference, last two jobs were done at the dealer, this time I am doing it, and it will get done correctly now.

Are those horsepower and torque ratings added to what the truck has now or is that the extra gain? Also, what is the most added horsepower/torque can the stock fuel pump keep up with?:humm:

Was studded, now it's not and your going to do it again? Not being a smarta$$ but :s: Wasn't it a mod friendly dealer that would put the studs in if you provided them? |

That would be the total REAR WHEEL, hp and torque numbers the truck would put out. The rear wheel numbers will always be less then what is at the crank.

A fuel pressure gauge is key. (How many times have you read me saying this now ya think?)
