Ok,I just ordered the sinister delete kit few questions

My problem was that oil in blowing into my anitfreeze. So I ordered the delete kit and wanted to know am I to take the egr value and egr cooler out of the truck? What I best to used to flush the radior out after having the oil in there? When you installed your egr delete did you have to replace any gaskets? Thanks

Hopefully you ordered a new oil cooler also!

You will need to completely flush the coolant system w/a low sudsing detergent. Then flush it w/ VC-9. Even then it may not all come clean. The oil will degrade the rubber components in the coolant system, so it is a VERY good idea to replace all of these rubber parts. A Tech I know also recommends replacing the heater core and the radiator also.

How big of a mess is the coolant w/ regards to the oil contamination?

It looks pretty bad in the reserve. My kit won't be installed til next weekend. I'm hoping that my truck will last

Hopefully you are not driving it this way. You are seriously lacking for cooling w/ the mess a leaking oil cooler makes in the coolant system.

I have seen pics of some burnt up engines because of this.

This is true. Don't run your truck like that. You will only cause more problems than you already have, and you don't need.

I only have the one truck. I have to run it at least for a few more days. I know i'm at rick but i have no other choice

unfortunately I have to use it this week. What is used to flush the radiator to get the oil res out

Low sudsing detergent. Cascade is recommended. One of the Simple Green products works OK also.

I understand you need it, but you are risking a TOTAL engine failure.

Just left my dads shop. He had a 6.0 that blew the cooler and was driven till engine failure torn apart. Not pretty.
