Going to need some more info. Is it stock? What do you use it for? What's the symptoms here? Has it been scanned to look for codes? Any check engine light on? Just the glow plug light flashing? Never heard of this. Any smoke from the exhaust? If so what color?

its just stock and i haul boat and a tractor with it, nothing to heavy duty and road and pasture hardlly have to use 4wd in a field. the truck has always pulled like a demon until i had gasket and injector fixed for 4000 and that was at beginning of year. i have it serviced religiously same people since we bought it new. its got a 130,000 miles on it is all. the last giesel mechanic put it on computer and said it was egr valve it didnt help much. i had it scanned before and it came up either egr, cam shaft sensor or crank shaft sensor. i dont have a mechanic i can trust for diesel so ive been reading and studying. what happens after a little while of driving it will just lose power the glow plug light flashes and if you pump it it runs fine again. ive also noticed serious power loss overall, any suggestions wld be greatly appreciated

At those miles, I'd clean the EGR valve right now (or do a full egr delete setup if you don't live in good ol Cali), and take the turbo out and clean it up. Here's the write up for that... Diesel Technician Society

Those two things are things that should be done regardless. The glow plug light flashing is still bugging me, and I will look into that more tonight. I have someone in mind to ask about it.

If the truck was throwing codes for crank position sensor and camshaft position sensor, that would do it too. Injectors wont know when to fire if it doesn't know where the crank is rotated...

I would double check with mechanic and make sure he knows there are 2 fuel filters, the one on the frame gets neglected alot of the times,
Sensor circuit?? could be a case of wire chaffing

The head gasket problem you had is just part of the issues. They blow from either the EGR cooler boiling off coolent, or the oil cooler being pluged.

Whenever you do head gaskets on a 6L, you always have to rebuild the oil cooler.

As for the EGR cooler, delete it ASAP. Buy the delete kit and have it put in.

i already replaced the egr valve and i drain the fuel filter every wek and change them with the oil change. still having this problem i'll do the reading and clean the turbo and thanks everyone. im on a mission now to figure this out

A full delete probably costs less than a new EGR valve for future reference. As long as it's on there, it's going to keep causing problems.
