Running 315/70/17 (35") bfg all terrain tires , theses milages
are by baby'n it never Over 2/3rds to3/4 throttle , hwy 63 to 68 mph,
speeding up before hills and letting it ease up hill, with that being
said if I put programmer on #5 and giver all over town I only get max
300km(185mi) on a tank , I try not to run it on high tunes as I
have no head studs yet. ( want to save motor for truck pulls)

 

Just curious, you guys are hand figuring this mileage, right? I ask because some of the numbers looked LOW! That or my numbers are better than I thought they were.

 

Yeah every mileage thread I see I take with a grain of salt. When people tell me they're getting 22mpg in their 6.0, I laugh at them.

 

16.5 mpg driving like I stole it, 16.5mpg driving it like theres an egg under the skinny pedal. both on extreme street tune. 17mpg stock running hard untill cruising speed.

 

I tried that a couple of times, ended up looking like an omelte was spilled on my floor mat!
