So today going to the bank while i was sitting at the red light noticed the EGTs where running higher then normal, and when I got on that pedal they were running just over 950. Is this normal or something going on under the hood? And what could cause higher EGTs other than heavy loads.

 

Well without knowing anything about the truck or how it was acting before this it's hard to say...
