i have been looking at getting a ppe programer and getting rid of my edge does anybody know anything about ppe

 

i know someone that has a ppe i seems to be pretty good definetly better than the edge. But if i was you I would go with a SCT X3 custom tuned. Just because you can get it custom tuned however you want. I have one in my 04 f250 6.0 cc short bed and i cant believe the amount of power and the tranny tuning is great. I have my mine custom tuned my Eric at innovative. I have a extreme race, extreme street, and an agressive tow tune. I use race as a daily driver and i still get great fuel milage

Also becaue PPE is a duramax tuner as Smarty is to cummins. SCT is ment for ford not PPE

 

SCT for 6.0's, nothing else!!! (make sure to get custom tunes too) I also use Eric @ Innovative Diesel.

 

PPE is an excellent choice! I am also a big fan of SCT they have been proven as the flash-ware of choice for Fords!

 

how much does the custom tunes cost?

 

ok so if i get the sct how do i get ahold of eric do i mail it to him or is it a download kinda thing sorry dont mean to sound like a dumb *** but im new to the custom tuned thing

 

if u order the sct from innovative u get 3 custom tunes for $80 otherwise its $135. and its fine i didnt know either. what you do is when you get it you get the stratagy codes off ur truck and you email them to eric at innovative. then you just tell him what you have into your truck and what tunes you want. Im currently running extreme street but also have extreme race and aggressive tow, although i havent tried the tow yet. but i love the extreme race and street. cant believe the power and still good mpg

 

Just call them up, they will explain everything. You get 3 tunes for free when you buy from them. It's $80 if you upgrade to an extreme tune, which I recommend.

The 3 free tunes, are they custom or the canned preloaded SCT tunes? Looking for an economy and mild tow with EGR codes canceled.

edit: Just looked at the SCT website and the preloaded tunes allow EGR delete.
