6.0 turbo trouble!

I have a code P132B
Does anyone know anything about this code? I've had this code recurring for awhile now. Replaced FICM (voltage was fluctuating) Replaced turbo (not getting any boost, sometimes). Dealer said this wa caused by exhaust leaks between manifold and turbo, I replaced all the pipes back there. This is really driving me nuts, someone out there has got to be able to help!

P132B is a code related to the calibration from the recall 06E17. It means that there is a problem with the VGT system. P132B is a fault code that is set if the required boost levels are not achieved during a learn cycle or at specific speed fuel demand points. This code indicates that there are issues with the turbocharger, MAF sensor, MAP sensor/hose, IAT2 sensor, intake leaks, or exhaust leaks, etc.

A solution MAY be as simple as performing the VGT relearn process, or it could be related to the above possibilities. I would suggest to try cleaning the IAT2 and the MAF sensor w/ MAF sensor cleaner.

How about more info on the truck? Year, mileage, what it's used for and how often, any mods, does it smoke at all and what color? Too much info is better than not enough.:pca1:

It's an 04 F250 4X4 work truck, no mods and about 90,000 miles. The truck runs well most of the time, it has an intermittent no power condition, which feels and sounds like no boost. There is no smoke, the engine is smooth, not missing, and it sets this P132B code. But it doesn't do it all the time.

The truck has been taken away from me and sent to a local dealer, so now I have to wait to see what they do! They called me yesterday and said they were going to clean the injectors, and replace the fuel filter and fuel pressure regulator. The fuel filters were just changed 200 miles ago (we change oil and filters including fuel every 5000 miles). I don't think they're on the right track, but have no choice but to wait and see.

my truck does the same it can take 45 seconds to cross a intersection empty an noone in colorado nows why they just say thats how 60,s are i hope someone call tell me whats up

Sounds like they're just going to be wasting your money. How do they plan on cleaning the injectors? What a joke. That code you provided is a low boost code, that's what it is, no if's and's or but's. How often is the truck used and what is it used for? Heavy hauling or grocery getting? These 6.0's need to be RUN and worked hard to keep that turbo clean. If you put-put everywhere, I can guarantee you need to clean the turbo.

So they had the truck for about 2 weeks, and consulted with the Ford engineers, replaced injectors, MAP, MAF, and gave me back the truck with no bill, saying it wasn't exactly right but it is better, try it and see how it goes. wish I could pull it and put a 7.3 in it's place!!
