Drivers side front end(bouncing)

i have a 2004 f350 6.0 dually 4x4 and when i push on the brakes the front end of the truck starts to bounce up and down, also when i get about 20,000 miles on my tires, the inside of them start to bald, the drivers side more then the passenger side, i was told to lift the front end of the truck and check the wheel for movement by grabbing the tire from top and bottom and pushing against it, the drivers side has lots of movement, the passenger side has no movement, so i was told to check that but i dont kno what that tells me??? ball joints? tie rod? hub bearing? so if yall could help me out id appreciate it!

Okay, movement when pushing on the top and bottom of the tire is normally wheel bearings.

If there is movement pushing side to side is steering ie tie rods or linkages are worn.
If you jack it up and stick a big pry bar or something like that under the tire and lift it up. While looking doing that look right behind the tire for movement. If there is movement then it ball joints or bushings.
