DTC CODE HELP!!!

I have an Edge juice Platinum installed on my 05 f250. I wen tto the recieve trouble codes section on it and pulled these up

P1378- FICM supply voltage circut low and
V0155- which says see shop manual but from what i've seen on the internet means lost communication with instrument cluster?:humm:

Does anyone know if this is normal with a programmer or if this is something to be worried about/expensive/trouble etc....

Thanks for the help!

you can solve a lot of little problems with new batteries, if it has been cold sometimes a battery will short out inside of itself. When my ford did that, with the same setup and chip, i replaced the batteries and it solved it. How old are your batteries?

Check your ficm voltage. You should be getting 48 volts. If not pull and repair or replace.

How do i check my ficm voltage?? and do i check it with the truck running of off with ignition on or completely off?

I'll tell you one thing right now. That V code is probably incorrect. My buddy kept reading weird codes like that with his bullydog on his 04 truck, and it was some weird thing like lost communication with window motor. Made no sense. He ended up buying an SCT after much convincing from me, and we read the codes again, the SCT brought it up as a P code, not the V. The numbers were the same, but the letter was wrong (so completely wrong diagnosis).

When searching, P0155 seems to be an oxy sensor malfunction on bank 2... so that probably isn't correct either, but just for peace of mind, I'd try reading the codes with a different code reader and see if you get the same one still. Maybe just have Advanced Auto read it (since they do it for free) and see what comes up...?

Also how old are your batteries? If you end up having to replace the FICM, I'd replace the batteries too, cheap insurance.

I think the v code is actually a u?? but i don't know when the batteries were last replace? i bought the truck not too long ago and haven't done so myself.... the truck is an 05 and just turned 115K today on my way to work
