White smoke-possible ERG coolant?

Ok...what about the white smoke (all of a sudden) and continues for 20 minutes straight? Wife had the truck and freaked taking it to dealership to look at. EGR valve or something else? We live in East TN and have had a significant amount of rain and cold these past 3-4 days....possibly water? HELP

By the way....2004 F350 with 100,321 miles (yes 321 over warranty)....HELP

DPF regeration frequency and duration is determined by drive cycle. Typically frequency is 100-600 miles between occurances and will last 10-40 minutes. Duration time is less if a constant speed over 30 MPH is maintained. Normal characteristics during regeneration include elevated idle of 1100-1200 in park/neutral that drops when the brake pedal is applied, increased white smoke in cold ambient temperatures, reduced engine response and power limited to 325 HP, change in engine, exhaust and induction sound, flutter on deceleration or shut-down, increased exhaust smell and temperatures, and lower economy. I DONT KNOW IF THIS WILL HELP maybe maybe not its brought to you by the diselman dieselmann's editorial and welcome to diesel bombers agood place to be

How's It Goin Cru,

I had the same problem with my 6.0 a couple months back I took it to my buddies shop. Turns out all I needed was to run the truck through a process called "Decarbinization" only shops can do it because it requires some chemicals to be pumped thru the engine while at higher than normal RPM's over a period of 2 to 3 hours.

I got it back the same day and it definitely made a big difference in not only throttle response but my MPG's as well. Plus it stopped blowin white smoke.:tu:

Hope that Helps.
