Will It Work??

I was thinking of running true 4" dual exhaust on my 03 6.0L and wanted to know if anyone has seen that before and if it helps better then single exhaust on EGT's...I also wanted to know what you guys think of the DTC's i have pulled with an edge evo programmer,1st is EGR circuit failure and the 2nd is glow plug #4 circuit failure..It runs ok,a little harsh when cold, not like no power or anything, just enough i can tell it's not the same when warm.I had it at the local dealer a few weeks ago and the only problem they found was injector timing was off, sense then the codes have popped up.I will get rid of the EGR as soon as i can afford to but,for now i will have to figure it out and work with it.The dealer said the O'Ring kit for it was only $7.00 and they have them in stock but,i have no freaking idea where it is or what to look for on this beast.......Thanks Guys:humm:

follow the boost tube out of the intercooler on the drivers side around to where it goes into the engine on top. right behind it is the egr valve. it has a plug with 4 or wires going into it. unplug it, take out 2 8mm bolts and pop it out. if it loaded up bad it will be hard to get out. you can pry on it but be careful, cause they will break. get it out:argh:, clean it up good, put the new seals on and put it back in. takes about 20 min on a bad day.

How do you intend to run true dual exhaust off 1 turbo?

Not Easy

A friend of mine has a dodge and an exhaust shop,he split the pipe going to the turbo and ran duals, split going in to the turbo, looks like one pipe with a seem but,it's 2 pipes going to the turbo feed and 2 going to the rear wheels. It took him about 6 hours to do on his,so i figure with my beast it might be done in 3 days...lol....At least mine has true manifolds where his has only 1,i hope he don't bite off more then he can do and not mess up my truck,it runs ok for now and i don't want to give it a reason to bite me.

what is the point of running two pipes from the turbo, that seems like it would be more restricted. Plus, the fact that you have two manifolds adds nothing to this argument, you still only have one turbo outlet. Not bashing, just trying to figure out the thought process.
