i have a 03 f 350 and it runs strong it doesnt run hot or even rough all gauges are normal operating after it warms up and i kill it it wont start but after it cools down it will fire up and run good as new
sounds like a weak ip to me(injector pump)
weak fuel injector pump or what? i just got a new fuel injector pump installed
on my 05, it started doin that. it was an oring that was leaking. wouldnt start when truck was warm.
High pressure oil leak, or weak high pressure oil pump, or biased ICP sensor or sticking IPR.
I have a 6.5 turbo and it dose the same thing ? help
Your 03 F-350 has a 6.0L in it and a very common problem is the no start after warm up. This is because it can not build the required icp pressure. It is an injector problem if my memory is right. I believe something comes apart on the injector . It has just been a while or I would be able to tell you the axact thing that it is. I am sure that it is on an injector though.. A scanner would show that it wont build icp pressure while cranking after the engine is warm. Just another 6.0L problem.....

Your answer is most likely high pressure oil leak. The engine is cold, oil is thick, it starts and runs fine, as engine warms up, oil thins out and under pressure leaks out and wont allow you to build the pressure you need to fire the injectors. This is a fairly common issue on a HEUI motor. |
Yeah, Mine just started doing the same thing this weekend>:argh:. Won't start after the truck is warm. So is this something I should just take to the dealer for the extended warranty($100 deductable) I have or Is it something that isn't to bad to fix under $100. Cause right now can't even drive it to work.
