2004 6.0 powerstroke help
ok guys this is the update my mechanic that cleaned the nipple on the boost sensor he cleaned that and cleaned turbo again and put it all back togethor and now it is very hard to start and will barely run and the valves are hitting hard and sounds rough any ideas.thanks in advance
---AutoMerged DoublePost--- he did say he sprayed brake cleaner in the intake where the nipple goes and he also blowed it out with air didnt know if that could hurt anything |
hard starting would have to be a fuel issue. these 6.0 are nothing but trouble i would sell it and buy another cummins or put a 12v in it.
|
also i just found out that last time he had it he welded the egr valve shut he just ordered a new but he paying for it since he welded it he said would this cause that but ive actually drove it since then.

2004 powerstroke egr valve
would a welded egr valve cause rough running issues thanks
|
Make sure after the EGR is replaced that the filter screen on top of the fuel pump is cleaned. This is a common problem for injector and EGR failure that Ford will never tell you about.
|
ok thanks
