Do you ran the touch screen pad to?

Well i know you can change it back to stock but i think once you get it running on some custom tunes you wont want to take it off :w2: No a lot of people dont like the touch screen for some reason......ive heard some good things about it too. Im still waiting to buy my SCTX3. Just send an email to eric at innovative or call them. I dont know alot about this programmer.....im still learning. ok sorry i have been mia but my jobs takes me away form the internet. Any way, OK so after all that I had a new pcm and rebuild trans, really just the torque convertor. wife bought truck home while i was at work. Ok then about two after pick up she needed truck. It started doing the same thing. less then 30 miles since shop had it. So back to ford they said something Pcm blow and alot more of the trans. So in come the expert that the ford dealing came in. OK I am still at work while all this is going on. My wife has been handling all that. So anyway I get back to a phone call the dealer ship talk to my service guy he says that a pin on the wire that rans form the pcm to the trans has a melted pin. And now the pcm i need is on national waiting list, great.
Anyway called today truck will be done tomorrrow.
No seems to know how that pin got damaged. So there we are.
Ps. ANyone have a 4" superlift kit on, Any deslikes or likes

Nothing wrong with programmer ,simple fix unhook both batterys for 2mins ,hook back up put prog, back to factory settings our 0, let trans, relearn is self, start with towmode run up to 3gear,back down run to 4gear,stop shut truck off let set 30sec,restart put in drivemode.:c: Then put prog, back to second setting.

Everytime the batteries die or are disconnected the truck needs to do the tranny relearn process.

Your dealer sounds like a complete hack. They told you for a fact its the PCM, then they change it and it does the same stuff? I'm scared and it's not even my truck.

Get rid of the edge, that will only further transmission issues.

SCT all the way.

It sounds like you are having the same problem that I had a couple of years ago with mine only diff is that my dealer took the time to figure out what was actually going on. It came down to 3 of the solenoids in the tranny. The one that locks the torque converter and 4th and 5th gear. When they get stuck from junk or whatever it won't send any codes, the truck will just keep eating the tranny. Mine took a little over eight hours of driving with ford diagnostic computers hooked up to find problem. As an avionics electrician I can tell you to have them show you this "melted Pin" because pins don't melt unless it melts the plug it is housed in as well. If I were you I would change shops. By the way they also will not be able to mimic the problems by changing parameters.

I've seen quite a few guys have issues with the solenoids on other forums, but it's nearly impossible to get the dealers to fix this under warranty. It's about $200 to buy all 6 of the solenoids new from Ford. $200 for anything on these trucks is kind of cheap...

You can also get an upgraded solenoid too from Suncoast, and they can be programmed by a few different guys.

Do yall think it might be because he didnt retrain his tranny after installing his tuner? Eric told me after installing to drive with my foot on the brake for a mile or so in each gear to relearn the shift points. Just throwing that out there.
