thats a dumb question. are you looking how to do it?, were to go?, how much?, what size?, what tires to go with? need more than just that

slugo 02-07-2009 12:07 PM

oh ok thats a better question. i know when my brother had his 05 6.0 he prfered the BFG mud terrain a few years ago now hes running 315/75/16 toyo muds and loves them with towing and road manners. i am running the same on my 1 ton lifted cummins and love them aswell

What's on it now?

Continentals? DO NOT replace Continentals with Continentals. They are a GARBAGE tire. I get more noise and vibration complaints stemming from those tires than you could put sticks on.

BFG All-terrain T/A's seem to be the tire of choice around here on the stock size 17 or 18 inch wheels.

What size wheels are you running

i am running the Goodyear wrangler Silent Armour Pro Grade on my 350 drw (17" rims) and my dad has them on his 350 srw (18" rims). They have a kevlar ply in them and are wounderful around the construction site the only flat i got was from a 1/2" lag bolt :(

ive been really impressed with my mickey thompsons, even got one slashed by some piece of shit:bat::madd: and they warrantied the tire out as "offroad" damage. made me a lifelong customer:U:

I have 20" on my F250 not many choices when you want load range E. Unless you want to remortgage the house for a set of Nittos. I went with Goodyear Wranglers. They wear good, but have poor traction in mud. We are in a terrible drought here in central TX so mud traction really doesnt matter now.

I just bought a set of 275/65/20 for my F-250 from Discount Tire. Drive out price with replacement certificates and lifetime balancing was $999 and some cents. I wanted the BFG's but dang, they were nearly $1900 drive out. Size on them were 285/65/20, they don't come in the 275's.
