Changing glow plugs on 06 6.0PSD
 

MY CEL is on and a scan shows my #5 glow plug is bad. Watching a video by the late Diesel Tech Ron he states he uses a Snap On 10mm half depth swivel, which I can not locate. Even Snap On couldn't find it.

I know a shallow 10mm doesn't have enough depth to get down on the glow plug. Will a deep socket have room to get in around the heater box?

If I end up having to pull the inner fender can I use the deep 10mm.

If worst come to worst and I can't get it done the Ford dealer wants $500.00 to change glow plugs and harnesses. Does that sound like a fair price ?
