OH NO 6.bLoW
 

So 5 hours into owning a 05 6.0 that has been studded (not sure about EGR or Oil Cooler) I notice the fan kick on, it's only 50 outside and I'm just cruising at 75 or so down HWY 99 at midnight, and I take notice that we're a little warm... The #$%??! :argh:. It didn't blow any white smoke whatsoever, did run funny, only a little bit of baby baby hiccups I noticed about 15 minutes before when I was waiting for the light to turn green, just figured it to be a typical ford idle. Ended up taking it back to the dealer, he felt bad and said it was going to be fixed free of charge (phew) So no smoke, no hard starts, sometimes it took a little longer than I'd like, and no water in oil, visaversa. Though I did add about maybe 1/3 gallon of coolant. And the next dat started fine, no smoke or anything... Still got warm driving over 55.

What should I expect to hear when he calls me with a diagnosis?

EGR. Any Commufornia way of getting rid of it or not having to deal with it? Smog...

Edge juice with attitude CS updated current (supposedly) what's your thoughts?

Coming from a 02 7.3 to a 05 6.0... Wow lol

Oh and it has 140xxx

so oil cooler could be shot. whats your water and oil temp difference? it could also have cracked heads.
