Truck won't start after different pcm relay installed as well as tranny kicking out.
 

My 06 6.0 was running fine yesterday until I was driving home and the tranny kicked out of gear and I have no drive or anything didn't sound like it blew though I've experienced that before. It was more like it shut off but I'm not sure any ideas as to if it could be the sensor inside the transmission? Also as I was on the side of the road the truck was idling fine n I could turn it on and off no problem. My buddy stopped n took his pcm relay out of his truck 01 7.3l (idiot) n threw in into the dash fuse box n tried starting it now it kicks on the check gauge display n it won't crank over n my injectors aren't kicking in when I click the key to start it. I checked the ficm n it has a strong charge. Let me know what you think...thanks!

Truck has 170,000 miles n well taken care of.

I don't know for sure but it sounds like the PCM relay swap caused the problem. I would unhook the battery cables to reset the ECM/PCM put the old PCM relay in and see if it will atleast start. Sorry not a ford mech but worth a try.
