1993 F-250 6.0 swap?
 

I have a 1993 F-250 4x4 with a tired 7.3L in it. I was wondering if it would be possible to shoehorn a modern 6.0L, trans, computer, and wiring harness into my truck...........or should I just try to rebuild the 7.3L? I would love to hear what you guys think and any other power train ideas you may have. Thanks guys and God Bless!!!!!!

Personally, stay with the original 7.3.
2 reason. For your sake, that is quite the job for the time and energy that you put in to the swap. Second, for what your going to get, a 7.3 will out last a 6.0, and a lot of less problems will occur with the 7.3, a lot less. I would stay away from them 6.0.

Yeah after I posted this thread it occurred to me that either a cab swap might be easier if I was dead set on the 6.0, or that it would be a fabrication nightmare to get everything to sync up and work right.:argh:
