6.0L Oil Cooler!!

Ok I have a 2004 6.0L 250 Auto 4x4, 4" lift, cold air, 5" Magnaflow w/deleted Cat converter, and the Edge chipset.

EOT 40+ over ECT so the cooler is plugged I get it, and yes I have back flushed the system for hours and switched to cat coolant, no change :-(.

My Q is: Is bullet proof the best way to go to re-configure the oil cooling system and EGR ($2500 in parts alone)? Or is there another system out there that's just as good?

Thanks

Ivan, I have a 04 CC F-350 4x4 Auto.
I also had the same problem, I used the BP with factory oil cooler and deleted the EGR cooler, Kept the egr valve in place. This worked out awesomely. Just make sure you have a bypass oil filter also to keep the oil clean. I also used a coolant filter w/cat coolant. expect to spend about 2-4 days performing all of this. And make sure you measure several times before you cut the brackets on the trans cooler. Good Luck:argh::c:

Save the cash since the OEM cooler works great when using the CAT ELC.
