I purchased an 05' 6.0 kingrach with 46k miles. I bulletproofed the oil system, studs, gaskets, programmer, turbo, egr delete, intake, and exhaust. I'm just afraid that the truck might still crater on me later on the road. Or shall I just get rid of it while it's still running? Y'all's honest opinion is greatly appreciate it.

 

If you have replaced the STC fitting on the HPOP and the dummy plugs and new stand pipes then the truck should last 500k, The last thing you might want to do to make sure you are good is to have the FICM repaired prior to it giving you issues, once repaired it should be good for life.

 

I'd drive the hell out of it! Watch your tranny though, just blew mine up

 

How mamy miles have y'all put on them?

 

I've got 154k. I bought it with 128k. At 132k I replaced my oil cooler, blue spring mod, egr delete, straight piped it, added a coolant filter, intake gaskets and added the 120 horse sct canned tune. At 148k I added an S&B cold air intake and the Truck Source Diesel Mild Panty Dropper tune. At 154k I blew my 4th and 5th gear out and I will be soon ordering a Twisted diesel stage 3 tranny with a fuel lab fuel system quickly after!

 

290k on mine now
