Ok i got a 2006 Ford F250 XLT FX4 6.0L Crew Cab.

i had a guy do work to my truck. and i noticed things wrong with my truck since he got done.

this is what he did.

ARP Studs. Fuel injectors. and EGR Delete by sinister diesel.

i noticed that this isnt connected (circled red in the picture) and wondering if its suppose to connected or not since i have an egr delete or if he just forgot to connect it. so please help.

i think its called the headers and its the pipe that look like it goes from the headers to somewhere by the turbo. like i said i found a pic please tell me if its suppose to be connected and if it is then what kind of damage can it cause being disconnected?

If there are two bolts missing go back and he needs to make it right. Those are the exhaust manifolds. The pipe going up is referred to as the passenger side up-pipe. If he did a EGR delete there may be a new pipe installed but it still needs the bolts to hold the flange together.

That's something that should have been squared away when it left the shop. It is an easy fix.

Ok just making sure that it needs to be together. since i got the truck i always heard a noise around that area and finally found that. which i hope to be it. can that cause the truck to not run right and also lose of performance?

I decided to go a buy to bolts myself and the noise ive been hearing is gone and seems like the truck is running better.

Basically it was leaking exhaust pressure that feeds the turbo. Good to hear it worked out.
