Looking at buying a bullet proofed 05 F250
 

I am looking into buying a bullet proofed F250 with 125k on it for around 20k. Here is a link to the truck on CL.

I guess the reason I'm here is to ask if the 6.0 is truly bullet proof able. I will be pulling a 21' Boat and eventually a toy hauler and do not want to get a gas truck like my last 8.1...fuel mileage is horrible.

I would really like some honest opinions on this because I may purchase it this weekend...

The only thing I would question is the "Black Onyx" head gaskets. Make sure where he did the work and if the shop will stand behind any future issues. BO gaskets don't have a good reputation for the long haul. Is ANY motor/transmission out there "bullet proof"?? I highly doubt it.

Considering your future use you could expect to enjoy the 6.0 motor/trans combo for a long time.
