2006 6.0 85% IPR, 0 ICT

2006 f250. Go to start in morning, crank no start batteries good. FICM 48-49 volts. Fuel filling fuel bowl good. IPR 15% key on 85% cranking. ICT 0 cranking. Pulled Oil filter and bowl not filling while cranking but filter wet even after 1 day of not running.. Dont understand that cause it was dripping wet but couldnt fill bowl. Maybe need to depress valve in bottom? Ex electronic tec but not much diesel exp. Just what i have learned on here. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

take the filter off the cap and put just the filter in housing and hold it down to press on the plunger then have someone crank it over to see if it fills with oil, if it does then you have a High pressure oil issue, most likely a pump if it won't start cold but it could be a leak if it is just a Hot no start issue. could also be a IPR valve that failed, try unplugging the ICP sensor on pass side valve cover to see if it will start, if it does then the ICP sensor took a dump

Cap off, filter in still no oil in bowl. Problem doesnt change with weather. Its 52 deg here and block heater plugged in. Unplugged ICP and still no start. Any other advice?

Check lube oil pressure and verify but sounds like a lube oil problem.

Where do i check it? Guage on dash never raises, as if there is no pressure.

if you don't get oil to the filter then it is most likely the engine oil pump failed that is behind the balancer on the crankshaft, rarely the pressure regulator will hang up too, it is located on the pump housing behind the balancer too. if the pump gears are nicked up it will cause this, the gears don't have to shatter for it to not pump
