Fuel Filters????

I am ready to do an oil change, oil filter and fuel filter change.

I can not find an international dealer in the Olympia/Tacoma/Seattle area. I found a place that stocks the Cat EC1 coolant and figured they would cary the fuel filter, but they don't.

From all of the videos I have seen on youtube, it seems that many of the aftermarket "compatible" fuel filters from Oriley's and Autozone are not the best choice????? Motorcraft seems to be the correct one.

Can anyone help me on getting the correct fuel filter kit. I know the international part number for the compatible fuel filter for the 6 liter, but I jsut can not find a dealer in the area :(

Which oil filter should I use? I assume Motor Craft for the oil filter

Also

Which oil and what weight?

Thank you!

For oil filters, Fram and Motor Craft are the exact same item. Around here I can get Motor Craft fuel filters from Advanced auto parts.

Thanks in advance ;)

There are two fuel filters and motor craft are the best replacements IMO. Usually I can get them from local auto parts store or ford dealer . .

Sorry, i forgot to post that I know I can get the filters @ ford, however, they charge a fucking arm and a leg for a filter that international carries for less than half! I"m looking for the right filter but for a fair price. I beleive the international filter kit is a little over $40.00 and the motorcraft is 100. Obviously, i'm looking for the international, jsut kind of hard to find :( H E L P Please;)

There is a lot of debate on oil . . Bobtheoilguy has website that's informative but I use Shell Rotella t synthetic 5-40 with factory filter and rev x additive. Starts in any weather without any problems and not plugging in block heater. Had some single digit temps last winter too. And 18.5 mpg on highway at 75 to 80 mph with 35 tall all terrains . I'm going to start using oil analysis since local truck shop just got analyzer machine! ( I have airdog 2 now so I don't use frame mount filter anymore.)

OK, I have found a filter kit on ebay that is part number FD 4606 and it says OEM....

WHat is the part number for the CORRECT fuel filter kit for my 2003 F 350 6 liter? I also found OEM parts on dieselfiltersonline.com for about 45$.

Thanks for the help!
