Default Turbo down pipe.

Hey guys I'm goin to be putting my new exhaust on once it gets here. Have you had any problems putting the 4 inch down pipe on. It's a 2004 F250. Just want to make sure that it will fit without having the push the fire wall back.

It's hit and miss. There hasn't really been a concise record of brands and what works easily.

My old pipe had insulation on it and got hung up on a screw protruding from firewall. I cut screw and everything was fine with mbrp exhaust. It was easier having 2 people to line up pipe with turbo clamp.

Ok I will start to look at the fire wall then to see if I can find anything that might be in the way. I got the 4 inch turbo back from Sinister Diesel. I know a lot of people just do the cat back with the cat delete. But the full kit is the same price when you buy them seperate.

i used to have a 6.0, when i put my 4inch downpipe on it i had to use a porta-power to push the weld seam down on the firewall, it should clear the firewall okay, just gets the weld seam where the firewall pieces connect.

I recently installed a 4" down pipe on my 2003 F250. I had insulation wrapping mine and I had to cut it all off before it would fall out of the truck. I cut the DP before the bend at the bottom and it was easily removed by myself. Also there were no problems with the new DP getting in the way of the fire wall.
