2003 6.0 ford will wont start

I have a 2003 6.0 ford f250 that is trying to start but it won't... I have done several things to it to try and get it running again. It all started with the truck being kinda boggy like it was loosing power when I would gas it... Well I was told I had a bad injector so I replaced the cylinder one injector. That didn't fix it, it still ran boggy and while I was test driving it, it just died and wouldn't start again. Then I was told it was my high pressure oil pump so I bought a new one and the truck started and ran ok for 2 days, every time I would slow down to stop the truck would try and die or would die... Well one morning I started it and was letting it warm up and it just died... I was told I may of got a faulty hpop so I took it out and exchanged it for a different one, well that didn't fix it. I even replaced the ipr valve.. Then I was told I probably have an O-Ring that is leaking so I put an air hose in the ICP sensor hole and pushed air inton it and heard air coming from under the valve cover on the passenger side.. I took the valve cover off and the feed hose that goes to the oil rail was leaking an air and little bit of air was coming from the top of cylinder 3 & 5 injectors where the oil rail sets in them, so I bought a new feed hose and new seals for the the top of the injectors, and it still won't start!!! It is trying and really sounds like its going to it just won't... I would appreciate any help with this!!

I wish I could help, the best I can do for you is to tell you how mine turns out. I bought a 2003 6.0 F250 Supercrew LB last week, second day I had it I went out to try and start, no start, it just cranked over and over. I had my mechanic pull the ICP and charge the batteries, still no go. Here are the codes it threw:

P0266 cylinder number two contribution/balance fault,
p0460 fuel level sensor circuit fault,
p0603 internal control module kam error,
p2291 injector control pressure too low engine cranking.

they checked for fuel has fuel and fuel pressure. Checked fuses and found 2 blown 30 amp fuses. Replace fuses in vehicle still will not start. Replace blown fuses may have low oil pressure so it will not control injectors.

The only code I really have to worry about is the P2291. I am guessing it might be the hpop, but hoping it isn't (about $1500 for a mechanic to replace I heard, and I don't have the time to dig into it). If it is something else, I will post for your benefit. Good luck!

were the orings on top of those 2 injectors blown out?? there would basically be very little of it left. Do the air test again, you always want to test it after you think its fixed, there are orings on those nipples on the oil rail that can go bad too,not very comon and hard to diagnose but they can go bad. these orings are in the oil rail and you have to get a special tool to do it,they are available on ebay for less $$

Well I got the truck running again and it runs great!!! After all that it was the prongs on the top of the 2 injectors and the o ring that sets on the pupe coming up from the hpop.... Apensity I hope you get your problem solved, if u have any questions I may be able to give u some ideas, I don't know much at all when I started working on my truck but thanks to this site I am pretty confident I no quiet a bit lol.. they got my truck running, but then they give me a call back and said it died on the following day. So now they are going to tear into it and look at the rails and the dummy pins.

Did they replace the hpop?? I no when I replaced the first one it ran for 2 days then died again.. I've heard that when u replace the hpop the old o rings and stuff just won't take the pressure that the new hpop puts out. I don't know how true that is but thats what people told me. Best of luck though!!

No, they said the ipv was unplugged. However the previous mechanic left it unplugged.
