Hey all. Just wanted to see if anyone else has had basically back to back hpop failures? Truck threw out the "check gauges" and won't start, no smoke, no oil pressure, no nothin except for turning over.

If you are not seeing anything on dash guage then that is low pressure oil for the motor, the high pressure pump is seperate and there is no guage for it. You can check the low pressurepump by pulling the cap off the filter then hold down the little plunger at bottom of filter housing then have someone crank it over to see if the housing fills up with oil, you can use a long screwdriver to hold down the plunger or pop the filter off the cap and hold the filter down in th housing to test it.
Now it is also very common for the IPR screen to get glogged after a HPOP install which can also cause these issues, simply remove IPR and clean screen or replace SCREEN if it is damaged. replacement screens are alot cheaper then a whole valve.
