New 6.0 PSD owner, where does this plug go?

Just bought a 04 F-350 SD Crew Cab FX4 Lariat 6.0 PSD SRW with 151,XXX miles on the clock. It has had the head studs done and has a AFE Stage 2 intake and filter. Extremely clean and in great shape. Runs smooth and quite. Got a 2 year warranty on it as well. No issues on it right now, (knock on wood, lol). Overhead display had been replaced, radio replaced, FICM replaced, injectors recently replaced, egr and cooler just replaced. I love the truck and the 6.0 has tons of power. I have driven several 7.3s but I love my 6.0 more even with what people think about them. I plan on getting a set of gauges, redoing the exhaust and adding a coolant filter on it. About all I can do with the warranty.

Intro out of the way so now to my question. I found a plug under the hood on the driver side of the engine. Not sure where it goes. It is disconnected and just laying near the battery. Took several pics to help show it.

Sorry for not being click free.
Using works on jeepforum with IMG tags but won't here.

I am not new to working on vehicles or modding them. This will be my third vehicle. I still own my other 2. Both are Jeep Grand Cherokees. One is my DD and the other is my toy. My Ford will be a DD and tow rig. I plan on using it to tow my Jeeps to and from offroading trips. Specs are below of my 2 jeeps.

wow, thats a new one to me, it might just clip into the side panel near the battery. I will have to look at mine tommorow to see if I have the same thing.

I appreciate it bobfbigman. I got the truck home, popped the hood and started snooping around getting familiar with the truck and found it next to the battery. I have looked all over the place and can not find any place it might go or run. I can not find the holes the clips plug in on the wire harness either. I got to take it to the dealer tomorrow for a complete fluid and filter change on the house and will ask them about it. Maybe it went on a sensor or something on the stock air box?

Well, I found where the plug goes. It is the hood lamp assembly that hold the light bulb. I got to looking at it and notice that it it rattle and had a motion switch inside of it. That's when I noticed that there was a broken white clip on the hood and there was no lamp anywhere. :tada: that plug goes there! I feel stupid that I didn't noticed it sooner!
