im buying a 2005 ford 6.0 everything has been tested ficm good injectors good all that but has a mean popping throw the intake any ideas ? i was told push rod or rocker or dropped valve/ stuck open ?

 

sounds like a bent push rod/broken rocker arm

 

Do u have any idea why it would bend

 

engine over rev, piston slaps the valve breaks rocker arm/bends push rod. the other would be somebody did headgaskets, didn't get one of the push rods seated in the lifter correctly, the valve was held open and piston smacked it on start up.
