Default Turbo no longer sweeps while idleing after egr delete?

Like the heading says I put an egr delete on about 4 months ago and have noticed that my turbo doesn't sweep at idle anymore(I think sweep is correct term, but it doesn't change vane position to go from whistle to rumble like it used to. I have an sct 3015 running sct performance tune as of now(customs are coming after tax return) while I was doing egr delete I also rebuilt oil cooler and some other updating while in that far. The tuner was already on pre egr delete, so only thing I can see as being different is the egr delete. Is this normal? I'm not super worried because I tend to excersize the turb with wot on a fairly regular basis but I am curious and like the idea of the turbo excersizing for when I'm not nasty with her. Thanks in advance.

I know the 03 and 04 that if you remove the egr valve it messes with the vanes relearning ability and messes with the engine fan I'm nit sure if its the same case on th 05-07 but when I do egr deletes I leave the egr valve in place but still change the up pipes and put the j tube inplace of the egr cooler ever since I switched to that method I have had a customer call me back with issues since

Hmm would it work if I just plugged the egr valve in but didn't put it in the intake? Just zipped tied it in place or something? I've still got it guess ill start there. Thanks!
