6.0 rocker arm assembly Plastic clip

I recently went through my 6.0 with fully Bullet Proof Diesel upgrades. Power max turbo, casserlie 155 injectors, ARP studs, head work, everything to make this engine run. After getting it all together I now have a slight ticking noise that appears to be a rocker arm or lifter noise. When I was repairing the engine with the heads and all I noticed a plastic retaining clip that appears to position the rocker arm that was broken. I checked it out and didn't see any visible sighns of damage to cause this clip breaking. I installed a new clip and put the rocker back to service. This ticking noise has got me worried I have over looked something. Has any 1 had to happen or is it just the 6.0 gift that keeps giving.

Alot of times the ticking noise can just be a slight exhaust leak where the manifold bolts the head, did you use gaskets on the ex. manifolds??

Yes I used ford exhaust gaskets and torqued the bolts! I will check the bolts to see if they need a fallow up thanks.
