2003 6 LITER, SCT STREET TUNE, EGR DELETE, JUST WENT TO 4IN. TURBO BACK EXHAUST, LOST ABOUT 2 MPG

How long have you been running this setup that you noticed the drop in MPG?? Is the SCT tuning the "canned" tune or a custom tune??

SCT CANNED STREET TUNE, NO PROBLEM. MILEAGE DROPPED ON INSTALL OF 4IN. TURBO BACK EXHAUST

If you still have the OEM air box take off that restrictive front on the box. Sounds like you're getting the air out faster than you can bring it in. Also, try the Zoodad Mod (opening up the front fiberglass in front of the air box). I did both AND added a drop in AiRaid filter. :tu:

THANKS, I WILL OPEN UP THE AIR BOX AND CHECK THE MILES.

You still shouldn't be dropping 2mpg just from adding an exhaust.... are you sure you're just not on the skinny pedal more now that you can hear that thing screaming?

I just cut down the "snorkel" on the OEM piece. Works great !!

The last time I lost 2 mpg, it was caused by a stuck caliper:argh:
