Hey needs need some help installing my turbo. I can get the bolts on for the pedistol, and the clamp for the down pipe for the exhaust. Having issues with the up pipe though. I tried using a ratchet strap but still no give. Any help?

are you just trying to get the turbo in the pedistal. i just put mine back in today and was having issues with it.. at least with mine once i got the back foot on the pedistal the other two kind feel right into place with alittle wiggling. as far as the up pipe i did it myself but if you can get a friend to help..

The easiest way to do it is to loosen up the 2 uppipes at the exhaust manifolds and then line up the Ypipe to turbo. Make sure it sits in there perfectly before tightening clamp, Ypipe should always be hooked up before any bolts or pipes are hooked up. the last thing you do is tighten the uppipes to manifolds.

I loosen everything like Bob said. Loosen the up-pipes at the exhaust manifolds, loosen the y-pipe connection at the turbo, loosen the down pipe at the turbo, and loosen the turbo mount bolts.

The first connection you should tighten is the y-pipe to turbo, this is always the one that leaks after an EGR delete. Get that seated first. Then tighten the up-pipes to the manifolds. Then tighten the down pipe, then lastly tighten the turbo mount bolts. Works every time.
