Quick question about injectors and no start hot condition

2003 F250 Fx4. 141,000. I am having a hot no start condition and was wondering, would a bad injector cause this problem? I know I have a bad injector or possibly more than one bad injector, cause I have lost some power in my truck and it has a misfire. But I just replaced the FICM about a month and a half ago. Since replacing the FICM it has only shot out white smoke once from the exhaust and never any other color. But basically, would an injector cause a hot no start condition? I'm guessing maybe an o-ring went bad and is making the oil leak to lose pressure. But would just like some ideas.

Most likely a leak in the high pressure oil system, not an injector, at least not likely, though it can happen. Not to say you don't have a bad injector... you might, but it shouldn't cause your no hot start issue. Easiest way is to hook compressed air to the high pressure oil system and command the IPR closed with an external 12V source and listen for the leaks.

I would check the IPR first to make sure the screen is not clogged or broken, when trying to find the leak keep in mind this is different then an 05 and up truck. These trucks actually have 5 STC fittings but they are not known to fail too much, also there is one ORING on top of HPOP outlet that can fail and cause a hot no start-it is on a port that goes up into the cover to supply the IPR and ICp. Again an air test will find it and whenyou go to do it you might as well pull the turbo to get better access to the IPR and ICp.
