I was planning on doin stages as my cash flow comes in. I rarely drive it cause i have my little pisser so I didnt think to much of it. I made sure and even asked innovative diesel if it would be fine and he said it should be ok. And yes ive done the fuel spring. And i will hopefully will be getting a gauge soon. And with the fuel line, I tend to go overkill on a lot, but i will be ordering an airdog soon so I was preparing for that really. I'm not sure what the fuel pressure was but the shop did say it dropped, but it was still over 45psi

Going too big on fuel line is just as bad as not having enough pump behind it anyways. You CAN go too big!

It's very possible you have a bad injector or two as well, not terribly uncommon. Did you send him 8 new cores to build from or just order 8 from him? If you just ordered 8, they were built from used injectors, and it's really a crap shoot as to how good they'll be. From what I understand, Jesse is a very understanding guy and is very easy to work with, so if you do have any issues he'll get you fixed up. My buddy got some stock nozzled 175's from him, I think he was in there 5 times before he finally had 8 that worked ok.

It's seen other people use an6 lines before, which is why I went with that size. But I sent him in my cores and he sent me these when he got mine. What are some signs that one might be bad? It all runs great now except for this. I have a lot more bottom end and even fuel economy went up a bit according to my edge. So i didnt really think of a bad injector

Could just be the common sticky spool valve, rough starts, can't drive it right away cause it skips, but then goes away when it warms up? Maybe try a couple bottles of rev-x.

You can do an injector buzz test and a cylinder contribution test, but you're going to need some scanning software.

What good does going to a big fuel do if you have the same pump? The only thing you've done is created a large volume for the pump to fill. Now the pump is working harder to create more pressure. Lines should be matched to the pump pushing them. I would definitely get a fuel pressure gauge on there ASAP. I'm sure AN6 is and can be used, but I doubt a stock fuel pump will supply all that's needed to them. At least look into getting an AD150 to supply the stock pump.

Even when cold, the truck runs 100x better than before and the old injectors were fine. I was planning on goin to a local shop to get it tested soon. But i plan on getting that airdog 2 165 and fuel sump package alligator performance has. i just had the lines put in at the shop so it would be easier for me.

I'd start with proper tuning before trying to chase my tail too much. I'm sure it will smooth it out tremendously.
