Fill the bowl up and fill the spin on. As well and start cranking

Canyou hear the pump running? did you snap the filter into the cap before installing the frame mounted filter? Was the truck running good before you changed filters?

What kind of filters did you use. Should only use Motor craft filters with these trucks. Other brand filters just dont fit right. Can also use Fram from what I hear. They are the same thing and same part# .

Got it

Archive this one!!!! Did everything by the book filters and all. Three times!!!!! Finally at 6:45 am after talking with and friend who is a diesel mechanic. He went over everything he could think of and we got nowhere. I kept thinking it was air but everyone said no way!! It bleeds itself. Well I still am not 100% but on my way to buy a fuel filter!! I decided to try something. I took the too fuel filter cal off and turned the key on and watched the bowl. First time nothing second time I saw bubbles third time "low and behold " gas started filling the bowl up so I screws the cap back on and cranked right up!!! Thank all of you for trying to help

Add this to the list of why every 6.0 should have a fuel pressure gauge.

Every time the fuel filters are changed, it is advised to turn the key forward and let the fuel pump run until it shuts off. Do this 3x, then try and start. I've tried starting after doing it 2x and it still struggled. Really need to do at least 3, 4 wouldn't hurt.
