Injector D-ring replacement

In an attempt to find the high pressure oil leak in my 2004.5 F-350 6.0L PSD, I've purchased a set of injector o-rings and I plan on inspecting and replacing the d-ring where the oilrail plugs in. Does anyone have any suggestions or tips to replace these? Or know of a video or PDF file that talks about it? I haven't been able to find it on my own.

I bought the lower set of o-rings first and had to ship them back, Alliant Power makes the complete set.

I've already done the IPR inspection and replaced the o-rings there, stand pipe and dummy plugs on both sides. This will be it before I breakdown and take it to the diesel shop.

Thanks for your help. I can always count on getting the help I need on this site either by finding post from past experiences or posting questions.

I would use a pick, like a dental pick, to remove the retaining ring then ue it to remove old Oring. for installing the oring I would use a small socket that fits in the top of injector loose and use that to push the oring in then do the same with the retainer. Keep in mind that there are also orings in the oil rail where those nipples are, if you are cahsing an HPoil leak and can't find it might not hurt to change those too, not as common as the other leaks but they do fail too, Iv'e seen the tool an oring kits on ebay, about $150 for the tool and 8 orings, if you look it up you will see a hex shaped tool that is hollow to fit over the nipple.
