adding clearance lights?

Default adding clearance lights?

i was wondering if any of you have added you own clearance lights to your truck, mine has none and im wanting to put some on her, but was wanting some info on what/how to do it and any tricks you guys may have learned along the way, and if i do em, are "recon" the way to go or what?

My buddy added some to his that didn't have any, he use the Recon kit. I believe he actually put the Dodge running lights on his though. If I remember right, the kit even came with a template to show you where to mark/cut the holes for it. My factory one's have rust around some of the lights, I wish my truck didn't even have them.

I got the recon with LED bulbs and I love them.

i bought a set of the recon triple led smoked set came with everything i needed

I bought the triple led smoked kit also. Came with all mounting hardware and wire harness. Got it on amazon for 85 after shipping. Installing it tomorrow. If you get the kit my advice is to disregard the screws it comes with and use actual bolts and lock washers. Be a better hold than some screws.

x2 the screws loosen up after time and tend to strip out i had them on my fummins and half the time i was tightening the damn screws

okay,im getting my truck completely redone, sanding it down, all rust fixed and repaint so im having them put the lights on at that point in time, but thanks for the heads up guys, im going with clear and the super white L.E.D.
