6.0l excursion with weak or failing injectors
My brothers excursion either has an injector going out or has one getting weak. He has always ran royal purple syn in it and thinks that the bonding agents in it have started to gum up the injector in question. Has anyone heard of this? Is it something that has a cheaper fix then the 3600$ for parts and labor that he's been told it'll cost? Any help and/or opinion, as always, would be appreciated:humm:

What makes him think an injector is going out... Very rare.. What year 6.0?

computer diao's and two different mechs say it is. it just feels like a miss and runs .....well just shity. Run like it just has less cylinders then its supposed to. Maybe dead cylinder. Ecspecialy around 2k rpms. When he gets on it, it doesn't seem to have a lag. Not really sure of anything, thats why i'm askin'.

I would bet you have a bad wire harness or a spool valve that is gummed up.
Truck get regular oil changes? |
My 6.0 was running very rough.........you might want to try Rev-X.
