HELLLLLP Replaced HPOP and ICP
So I tore into my 2003 6.0 and replace my HPOP and ICP sensor knowing since my IDS said that the pressure was low I knew that the HPOP had gone again so i replaced them started the truck up went on test drive and then shut it off now it cranks but will not start. since this is my 3rd one now here's what i've been looking at on my IDS
IPR % 84.17 ICP 486 psi - batteries we're low when i tested this so i don't think my RPM's were up. would the IPR cause a no start? or has the rebuilt pump i had warrantied and just put in from the dealer gone bad on me again. another question since the IPR is 84% that means it's stuck open right? would it cause the ICP to show low PSI? Please HELP i love my truck and would hate to do a $3 fix on it :bomb: |
The IPR % is how much it is closing, so the higher the percent goes the more it is closing. Pull the IPR and check the screen, it is very common after HPOP replacement for the screen to get clogged or even broken, if it is broken then replace the screen but make sre the inside is clear of debri.

I would air test it and be done with it. A few months back we had a faulty injector cause a very similar issue but all 8 were new, air test led us to the faulty injector.
