Tranny, T.C. Shudder, or What?
Like driving over rumble strips, I can feel it at 20 but, more noticeable at 45 mph. and above. It only happens at steady speeds. If I accelerate or or let off, it stops. I DON'T think that the filter has ever been changed but, I know the fluid has (basically) been changed. Odometer is reading @208,000 even though papers say the the tranny and motor were re-built @ 120,000. (Too many signs pointing to bogus papers.) Any ideas or questions? Need help fast!

Check the drive shaft and u joints, block wheels in neutral, could be a u joint, or the carrier bearing could be bad..

Found out today when the driveshaft "blew up" and I lost it. Not t.c shudder, not rear end, but, u-joint. Lost the rear of the rear shaft and broke one "ear" on the rear of the front shaft right behind the carrier bearing where the middle u-joint is. I am relieved for that but, now, I need both shafts and no salvage yards around here have any, well, thanks anyway everyone. I appreciate your help.
